Gitare AB is produced by its namesake. Gitare. a washing station established in 1954 that belongs to the Kimaratia Farmers Co-operative Society. It’s uniquely embedded within a tea-growing zone. and sources its water from the nearby River Theta.
This coffee was air-freighted by Regalia a month after harvest to preserve its peak freshness. A beautiful representation of Kenyan coffee. this washed light-roast opens up beautifully with notes of pomegranate. dark chocolate–covered fig. plum. and lychee.
